Proactive Personality

My summer has been busy. Its been crazy busy.

We have completely re-done the outside of our home, I have registered my oldest for three preschool’s and hoped she would make it into the one I really, really wanted. I went on vacation, dealt with ear infections in my youngest. He also had ALL molars coming in at once. My husband’s grandfather passed away. My youngest brother and wife had there first baby. My husband was in a car accident that has him seeing a chiropractor weekly. My business as a coach has been booming and I’m loving it! I had my first ever sinus infection that bordered on walking pneumonia. I am tired. So very tired. With the heat at a sweltering point and our world at even a higher heat index with crisis I am posting a relevent piece I wrote a few years back.  Previously posted January 19th, 2015 yet still very much relevant to my summer…

Are you living life half full? Are you choosing to not be a fighter? Are you scared? I know fully well of what fear can do in holding you back. I have personally dealt with fear in many forms. Are you aware that the command most given to us in God’s Word is “do not fear”? The reason people don’t live fully is straight out of a fear of something. “What will someone think? What could happen (this fear is so irrational I was told that 99% of what we fear “could” happen never does). What if I fail? What if I end up like such and such? What if I don’t? What if…?”

During this season of my life, I find that fear has once again taken a little piece of my mind. I’m fearful of managing two children. I fear I don’t have enough strength or a servant’s heart to manage and create well-rounded little human beings. I’m fearful of the future of this world ( who isn’t?), I’m worried something horrid will happen to my kids, I worry my husband is getting worn out being such a help during this time. Bottom line…I worry.

What are you worried about?

Isaiah 41:10 (TLB)10 Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed. I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.[a]

Fear is something we all deal with and in all different levels. We must fight back! If we don’t it will suffocate our lives and keep us from our full potential as keepers of our home!! We must get a hold of our fears in whatever way possible and allow God access to doing His will. The enemy is out to destroy me and to keep my home a mess-Physically, emotionally, relational, and mentally. I believe Satan’s number one tactic is fear. Fear creates pain and unstable people. If your afraid to be the spouse you need to be, you will never fully rise to it. If your afraid your past will haunt you. It will. If your anxious for your kids, you’ll never be able to let go properly – (and they will become what you fear). You’ll never be able to fully live and to impact the way your suppose to, if you live in worry, doubt, and fear.

Take action. Take heart. Be Bold. Get help if need be. We must stop the sickness of anxiety and fully take charge of our life! We must never let the world, pain, and satan create a stale mate in our own life!

Philippians 4: 6-7  (TLB)
6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank him for his answers. 7 If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus.
