Dear Gen Alpha,
Your amazing! Have I told you that? Let’s just start here. You have the most technical skills of any of us, you’ve been through a Pandemic, Your smarter than me. Honestly. “Mini millennials” is a term used to describe you because of your link to very end of the Gen X and millennial parents. Your ability to tic. toc, online date, debate politics, care for world issues, and not worry about the traditions that died out during your time astounds me. You are the first generation to be born entirely in the 21st century! Give yourself a pat on the back. Seriously. I hope you always carry the zeal and energy that you have now. You will change the world for the better. I’m sure it. I’m sorry we haven’t done better for you.

We haven’t helped enough in your formal education but put tons of pressure on you. We’ve expected you to know what we know which only comes with experience, We think you should work like we work (pre. Covid) We believe you shouldn’t want so much. One because it took us years to get our bread, but that shouldn’t mean you shouldn’t be more effective and have it sooner! Forgive us for our jealousy.

Remember that humility and kindness goes a long way. Grace is underated. Thank you for being the generation that the next get to watch! oh how much hope you give us. We pray you understand the value of love. That love truly is worth it all and that relationship is always worth the effort. I’m sure you will but just remember you heard it. Here first. .Time is the greatest gift but that doesn’t mean you should rush to gain more. Going slower never hurt anyone but saves many. When in dought look up. Look up from your phone. Look up into someone’s eyes. Look up into the heavens. Looking up physiologically changes your mind set. But you already knew that.

You’re smarter than me. I know your the generation of tech and audio learning to reading the old school way really is marvelous and a wonderful thing. If you ever do find the time you’re trying to gain may I recommend you read? While I’m at it may I recommend that the outside world should be enjoyed more and that the institution of marriage is vital? If you ever feel overwhelmed look up! God of the universe, is bigger than it all! Breathe! Do I sound too old school? It’s old school but it is truth. You are beautiful, do you know that? You give me such joy knowing I leave the world to your capable hands. You have greatness in you. That is also fact. We believe in you – BE GREAT.
